In lost dreams and broken hearts, we all are searching for love. God's love sustains us even when it seems that we cannot go on. Mary went on even though she had to be tired and weak. I am sure she was exhausted when arriving in Bethlehem and finding nowhere to stay. But God blessed Mary with love in His call to her. He led her to a place of comfort for her to have His son. Lost dreams and broken hearts are mended with the birth of the prince of peace who brings hope unto the world. May the Son of the Most High Lord point you to a place of love and comfort this Christmas. May you find him in the softness of Christmas lights on a Charlie Brown tree. May you feel him in the warmth of cocoa and a fireplace. May you see him in friends and family as you gather together to worship the Babe wrapped in swaddling clothes.
