My niece Lauren is so full of the energy of play these days. She is three and loves to gives hugs. Her mother has taught her the importance of touch and love for others. She always gives hugs to everyone in the room when she leaves. Jesus also touched the people. He came near them. He ate with them, lived his life with them, and touched those who were untouchable. He was their lifeline. My lifeline lies with those who love me. My parents, my small group, my friends at Trinity and a favorite pastor/friend who reads this blog. You see we all need each other. We need to live together to help each other heal and to help each other through all that is and that is to come. We need to touch each other on both a physical and spiritual level. Pray that you will have an opportunity to touch someone today with the presence of Christ.
