In the beginning, God created...

That is the scripture that was given to me this past weekend at a retreat. New beginnings are starting to happen. The ice and snow in my life are starting to melt, and the flowers are starting to bloom. Jesus is creating a new life for me. And the sweetest smell is that I do not have to do one thing at all for this to happen. The only thing Jesus asks is for me to let him love me. That is all.

Jesus does not point his finger at us and condemn us...Jesus opens his arms to us and wants us to run to him. When we are frustrated and angry, then yell at him, lament all you can to him, call out to him. Yelling at others will not accomplish anything except keep you in that angry and frustrated place. But when we go to Jesus, then our frustrations and anger will fall away as we receive back his love.

Jesus is so much bigger than all that is going on in our lives. Reach out to those open arms and let the Lord of your life enfold you and hold you. Amen. Amen.
